Power Greens Smoothie

Green smoothies have become almost synonymous with healthy eating. You can find a green smoothie just about anywhere these days, which is AWESOME, but these green beauties are not created equal.

Some are way too sweet with tons of sugary fruit juices and some taste like a liquid salad. Don't get me wrong, I love salads and eat one almost daily, but I don't want my smoothies to taste like one.

I LOVE smoothies that pack in tons of plants, but taste like a dessert. Dessert for breakfast, yes please!

This Power Greens Smoothie is a beautiful green color with 2 servings of fruits and veggies and totally tastes like a banana cinnamon ice cream. Healthy and delicious, win-win!

I love having this nutrient rich smoothie for breakfast, as a snack or even as a dessert. If I'm feeling really hungry or have had a challenging workout, I'll add plant based vanilla protein to it too.

Feel free to swap kale for spinach and add in frozen zucchini or avocado to up the veggie power

Happy blending!
