Franken-Smoothie Bowl

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups milk (we love unsweetened almond milk)

  • 1 banana, frozen

  • 1 large handful of baby kale or spinach leaves

  • 1 tbsp almond butter

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • *optional: 1 serving of vanilla plant based protein

  • *optional: 3 tbsp hemp seeds

  • *optional: 1/2 cup frozen zucchini or avocado

  • blueberries for topping

Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender, start blending on low until everything gets going.

  2. If your blender needs a little more liquid, add an additional tablespoon of milk until all ingredients are smooth. This will be thicker than a typical smoothie.

  3. Using a dry erase marker, draw a Frankenstein face on a glass cup, pour smoothie into the glass and add blueberry brains on top.

  4. Eat with a spoon. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
