We know that adding veggies into meals can be a struggle, especially when you're feeding picky eaters.
One of our favorite ways to add in more nutrient dense foods:
Turn our Power Greens Smoothie into a "Franken-Smoothie" bowl, and your once picky eater may just inhale it!
Holdiays are a great opportunity to have some extra fun in the kitchen and mix things up.
Start Halloween off deliciously with this spooky twist on a smoothie favorite!
1.5 cups milk (we love unsweetened almond milk)
1 banana, frozen
1 large handful of baby kale or spinach leaves
1 tbsp almond butter
1/4 tsp cinnamon
*optional: 1 serving of vanilla plant based protein
*optional: 3 tbsp hemp seeds
*optional: 1/2 cup frozen zucchini or avocado
blueberries for topping
- Place all ingredients in a blender, start blending on low until everything gets going.
- If your blender needs a little more liquid, add an additional tablespoon of milk until all ingredients are smooth. This will be thicker than a typical smoothie.
- Using a dry erase marker, draw a Frankenstein face on a glass cup, pour smoothie into the glass and add blueberry brains on top.
- Eat with a spoon. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
