This is going to be a bold statement, but I'm not afraid to put it out there because it's THAT good.
Our Chocolate Cherry Smoothie is our #1 rated breakfast recipe and everyone should try it.
We love that we can pack a ton of greens into this smoothie and it still tastes like dessert!
If you're feeling like you need an extra plant boost, add some frozen zucchini or avocado to up the nutritional value even more.
Chocolate Cherry Smoothie
- 1.5 cup milk
- 1 cup frozen cherries
- 1/2 banana, frozen
- 1 handful greens of choice (spinach, kale, etc)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
- 1 scoop chocolate plant-based protein (we use Juice Plus Complete)
- Optional: 1 cup of frozen zucchini and/or 1/2 avocado
- Place all ingredients into a blender, blend for one minute. Add more liquid until you reach your desired consistency.
